Danger, betrayal, and enticing forbidden love clash in book three of #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Harbinger trilogy!
When Angels Fall
Trinity Marrow has lost the battle and her beloved Protector. Even with both demons and Wardens on her side, Trin may not win the war against the Harbinger.
Bringing Lucifer back to the world to fight the Harbinger is probably a really, really bad idea, but they’re out of options—and the world’s ultimate fallen angel is the only being powerful enough to impact the outcome.
As Trin and Zayne form a new and more dangerous bond and Lucifer unleashes Hell on earth, the apocalypse looms and the world teeters on the end of forever. Win or lose, one thing is certain—nothing will ever be the same.
“You are all I ever wanted, even before I knew what I wanted. It was you. It was always you.”
Before I start this review, I once again want to thank JLA for the ARC as part of the review team!
This was such a great conclusion to this trilogy! Jennifer does amazing work and this was no exception! There so many plot twists, as per JLA's usual tricks. I saw some of them coming, but others came out of nowhere and I loved them all.
I also just love so much how Jen portrays Trinity's disability. She could have magically cured her, but she didn't, and I appreciate that. As someone with a disability, albeit a different one than Trin, it's refreshing to see it be represented so freaking well.
I highly recommend checking out this series, but first you NEED to read the Dark Elements series. This trilogy is a spin off of that series, and it definitely makes more sense if you read DE first!
I've been reading more Adult/New Adult books recently, so I was really really worried I wouldn't be able to get back into this one, but surprisingly, I didn't have any trouble at all! This is Young Adult, and it reads as such, so if you're looking for explicitly spicy, this is not the series for you. However, this is still such an amazing series and the characters have my heart.
If you have been traumatized by Jen and her cliff-hangers before, you are now safe to read both Dark Elements and the Harbinger series!
Let me know what you think!
